FAQ Version History

V 0.2: This is my second FAQ, which is this FAQ. I deleted the session
'Equipments' and add two more, 'Vending Price' and 'Alchemist's
Job Upgrade Question Answers'

Alchemist Notes
---------------
Hello! And welcome to my FAQ devoted to the Alchemist class. Also with
Creator inside. Alchemist is the master of bio-chemistry in the game
play. An alchemist can summon monsters to help him on offensive purpose
as well as creating artifical life form to help him in battle. Lets
look at the Pros and Cons of an Alchemist or Creator.
Pros of an Alchemist
- They are pretty rare than any other characters.
- They have some awesome skills, especially the ones that can summon
things.
- They can do potion throwing.
- They make great party members for people out to smack around high AGI
monsters.
- Can put your items into your cart if you are overweight.
- Can buy items at a discount and sell items with overcharge.
- Can open their own shop.
- Potion skill is useful in WoE and PVP.
Cons
- Hard to find guild as many Alchemist lost to a smith in WoE in most
case.
- Useless if you become Alchemist in some private server.

Alchemist creates a new dimension of material by manipulating the
elements that forms the existing materials through repeated researches
and studies. And now, they are trying to infringe the domain of God by
trying to research and create living beings.
Many secrets lies beneath this second level upgrade profession of
Merchant. The main difference that separates Alchemist from Merchant is
his unique ability to create different kinds of potions. The skills of
an Alchemist are one of its kinds. When fighting together with in
party, Alchemist is able to throw healing potion at their companion to
help them recover their health. This is an alternative way of healing
other than the healing skill of Acolyte and Priest.

Status Build
------------
STR (Strength)
Determines the attack strength and allows you to increase weight. But
you won't need a lot of STR becaues you do not need to increase weight.
You can just put your items into your cart if you are overweight. Only
up this if you are battle Alchemist or Creator.
AGI (Agility)
AGI increase the chance of doging hits and increase the attack speed.
It also helps for not using too much potions while you are training.
This status is the most important for almost all the jobs.
INT (Intelligence)
Why need INT? INT increase the max SP and the Magicial attack and
defence of your character. Many people said that Alchemist don't need
INT. Who say? Don't forget that you have the skill Potion Pitcher,
which requires a little bit of INT. So don't up too many.
DEX (Dexterity)
DEX increases the minimum damage and the accuracy of your hits. Most
jobs need this. Alchemist must UP this. This is the most important
status, but don't up too much.
LUK (LUCK)
LUK raises the chance of doing critical hit and prefect dodge.
Alchemist don't really need this.

Merchant Quest
==============
Requirement: Novice with job level 10 and above
Location: Alberta City
When you reaches job level 9, proceed to the Merchant Guild at Alberta
City to apply for job upgrade. The Guild staff will randomly pick one
of the four locations stated below and give you a quest that requires
you to send the goods to a certain NPC. After you have sent the goods
and acquired the receipt, return to the Merchant Guild at Alberta and
show the receipt to the Guild staff. Then, you can perform job
upgrades.
* Goods Sending Mission
ID: 2328131
Send the goods to the old Swordman Guild at Southeast of Prontera and
retrieve the receipt from the Kapra Staff.
ID: 3487372
Send the goods to a scholar in a house located at the Northeast of
Morocc and retrive the receipt from the NPC.
ID: 3543625/3318702
Go to Izlude city and pay 150 zeny to travel to Byalan Island and send
the goods to the Kapra Staff to retrieve the receipt.

Send the goods to the NPC in Magic Academy at Geffen City to retrieve
the receipt.

Alchemist Quest
===============
Requirement: Merchant with job level 40 and above
Location: Al De Baran
When the Merchant reaches job level 40, proceed to the Alchemist Guild
at Al De Baran.
Trials of Job Upgrade:
----------------------
1. Job upgrade Application:
Look for Parmy Gianino at the Alchemist Guild to apply for Job
Upgrade. He will ask player to pay 50000 zeny and a few specified
items. If you have an Old Magic Book and Hammer of Blacksmith, you
can choose not to pay him.
Set 1: 7 Berserk Potion
Set 2: 100 Portable Furnace
Set 3: 7500 Fire Arrow
2. Test of Mathematical Calculation:
There are two NPC in the building at the 7 o'clock direction.
Purchase 3 Medicine Bowl from the male NPC and then talk to the
female NPC. Give her the items stated above and proceed to the
underground labortory to find Lasputin. Answer the mathematic
questions that he give correctly. You can be exempted from this test
if your job level reaches 50.
3. Potion Making Class:
Look for Darcya to learn the potion making method. After you have
completed that, you will be able to receive 1 Red potion, Yellow
potion and White potion each.
4. Test of General Knowledge:
Talk to Van Helmont to take this test. If you have completed the
dyestuff making mission, you only need to answer his question
directly. Or else, you will have to complete the dyestuff making
mission first.Van Helmont will ask you about the making of
counteragentn and mixture.
If you have not complete the dyestuff making mission:
Bring detrimindexta and karvodailnirol to the inn in Al De Baran and
talk to an NPC named Louitz, the NPC in Geffen known as Aure Dupon
and Molgenstain who can be found at the blacksmith Job Upgrade
location in Geffen. After completing this quest, talk to the NPC Van
Helmont again to continue with the job upgrade quest.
5. Crossword Puzzle:
Look for Nicholas Plamel at the Southwest direction of the
underground laboratory to take this test. After you have passed the
test, you will be able to receive the item required for the next
test.
6. Test of Intellect
Look for Bhaine and Bhagine Brothers at the resident at7 o'clock
direction of Juno. He will ask for the item Nicholas Plamel has
given you. They will give you 5 Red Gemstone after you have given
them the items. Then they will ask you vto return to Nicholas
Plamel.
7. Job upgrade Complete:
Return to talk to Nicholas Plamel and then look for Vincent Carcialo
to perform Job upgrade. You will be given a Create Book as job
upgrade gift. If you perform jjob upgrade at job level 50, player
will be able to receive a [Slim potion Create Book].

Reborn / Reincarnation
======================
In order to Change job to Creator, you will have to reborn first.
Requirement for Alchemist before Reincarnation:
Character must reach base level 99.
Character's Job level must reach job level 50. (All skill points must
aready be assigned)
Clear everything in the inventory slot. Rings should be taken off first
if you have. Pushcart should be unequipped.
Location for Reincarnation:
Juno Castle Procedure.
Find and talk to Metavis Seith (yuno_in02 88 164) and pay 1,285,000
zenny to proceed to read the incantation in the Book of Ymir (yuno_in02
93 205). After you have completed the reading, go downstairs (yuno_in02
86 14) through labyrinth to look for the NPC Heart of Ymir (yuno_in05
49 43). Ps: Clear everything you're taking such as item and money. (Put
the rings to the inventory). Proceed to the Temple of Valkyrie (Hall of
the Great Warriors (valkyrie 48 8)) after you have entered the Heart of
Ymir. Talk to the Valkyrie (valkyrie 48 86) at the Temple.
Reincarnation is successful after the dialogue (You will be turned into
High novice and you will receive Knife and Cotton Shirt).
Reincarnated Novice will be able to learn skills of Novice no matter
player has learned it before. After you reach Job lv10, change job to
High Merchant (you will not need to do the quest).
Reincarnated 1st level profession will be able to learn skills of 1st
level profession no matter he/she has learn it before.

Creator Quest
=============
Requirement: Male Merchant with Job level 40 and above.
Location: The place where you do your reincarnation (Juno City)
Enter the Hall of Great Warrior (Valkyrie 48 8) to look for the NPC
Creator. Talk to him and you will become a Creator.
