New Character Classes: Taekwon Master

A Taekwon Master is an advanced form of Taekwon Kid who is aligned with the celestial bodies, using the power and knowledge from books to power thier attacks. Taekwon Master continues to use kicks as thier primary form of attack, and can continue to use all Taekwon Kid skills (with the exception of Taekwon Mission). Unlike Taekwon Kid who is restricted to just basic gears, the Taekwon Master can use almost any equipment that is usable by existing second class characters, and equip books as weapons.

Many of the Taekwon Master's skill are tied with the celestial bodies, the sun moon and stars. Each of these give the Taekwon Master thier strength. Many of the Taekwon Master skills are tied to aligned locations, monsters, and calender day.

The first kind of this type of skill are those restricted based on places aligned to one of the celestial bodies. Once he has learned the skill to do so, a Taekwon Master can align any map he choses. Once this happens, that map becomes permenantly aligned for that player. Certain skills will require you to be on one of these maps to use.

Another type of skill are those which allow you to align a monster of your choice. Like the aligned maps, the choice you make is permenant, and cannot be changed. Certain skills may give you special bonuses against these monsters.

The third type of skill available to the Taekwon Master are those bound by the celestial calendar. These are also strong skills, but similarly restrictive as they can only be used on certain days. The callendar days are as follows:

The Sun shines brighest on even days.
The Moon shines brightest on odd days.
And the Stars shine without fail on every 5th day.
Of course, not all Taekwon Master skills are restricted in this fashion. There are a number of skills which are not based on aligning. If the skills are too confusing or restrictive for you, you can also chose to broaden your range of Taekwon Kid skills, and simply have the advantage of better stats and equipment work for you.

It may seem as though many of Taekwon Master's skills are too restrictive, but when used correctly they can be very powerful tools. And while your choice of aligned map and monsters are supposed to be permenant, it is said that a celestial angel can free your choices if you can learn how to call her.

Taekwon Master, unlike other classes, requires more job exp to level up.

Description: Solar, Lunar, and Stellar Perception allows a Taekwon Master to align the map they are currently on with one of the cosmic bodies. These aligned maps are the basis for many of the Taekwon Master skills, but remember that once a place has been chosen you will not be able to change it.

If you have not chosen a site when you use this still, it will prompt you if you would like to use the current map. If you have already aligned a map, then casting the skill will tell you which map you have aligned.

The skill level determines which place you are declaring, or if you have declared a place already it will let you know where that currently is.

Solar, Lunar and Stellar Opposition

Description: Solar, Lunar and Stellar Opposition allows a Taekwon Master to declare one type of monster or player class as aligned with one of the celestial bodies. These aligned enemies are a basis for several Taekwon Master skills. Once a monster is declared as an enemy, you will not be able to change it.

When you use Opposition on a monster, that type of monster becomes aligned. If you use it on a player, that players class becomes aligned. Restrictions exist for selecting monsters but you can align any player type as an enemy regardless of size and HP. The level of skill you use determines what kind of enemy you are declaring.

Level 1: Designate with Solar Alignment. Only small sized monsters can become solar aligned.
Level 2: Designate with Lunar Alignment. Only medium sized monsters with more than 6000 Max HP can become lunar aligned.
Level 3: Designate with Stellar Alignment. Only large sized monsters with more than 20,000 Max HP can become stellar aligned.

Solar Heat

If the skill is used to strike a player in pvp or woe, it will also drain a substancial amount of sp from your opponent.

Solar Heat can only used in a map with solar alignment.

Description: When you get the skill Solar, Lunar and Stellar Shadow, you become aligned with the shadow which sacrifices your sight for attack speed. From the moment this skill becomes active, your character will be permenantly blinded. The more points you put into Shadow, the more blind you become.

Solar, Lunar and Stellar Shadow only becomes active when the Taekwon Master hits Job Level 50. Until that time, the skill will not affect your character in any way.

Description: Solar, Lunar and Stellar Team-Up allows Star Knight characters to better party with the other combo-type martial arts class, the Monk. Any monks in the party with the Taekwon Master with this skill will have their chance to perform Raging Trifecta Blow increased. If a Monk in the party uses Raging Thrust, the chance of the Taekwon Masters counter kick stance activating is increased.

Description: When you log in on a map which is either solar, lunar, or stellar aligned, Courier raises the maximum amount of weight you can carry before you become encumbered. If you spend too much time outside an aligned area however, you will lose the bonus.

Solar, Lunar and Stellar Union

Prerequisites: Solar, Lunar and Stellar Courier 9

Description: Union is the ultimate state of mind for a Star Knight, using the power of the sun, the moon, and the stars to unlock hidden abilities within you. As a Taekwon Master you are not able to achieve Union on your own however, and are required to be under the effects of Taekwon Master Spirit, a skill cast by a Soul Linker. Using Union instantly removes the Spirit skill from you, but you can continue in Union until it wears off or you manually deactivate it by recasting the skill.

When you active Union, you will float off the ground and move much faster than normal. Your attacks will never miss, and bypass all defence on your target. Union does take a toll on its caster however. Each time you attack while in union, you will lose 2% of his maximum hp. If you attack a player, that ammount increases to 8%. If you attack a player while in Union with less than 20% of your max hp left, you will be killed instantly.

Solar, Lunar and Stellar Miracle

Prerequisites: N/A

Description: Solar, Lunar and Stellar Miracle is not a normal skill, as you neither need to put points in it, nor will it show up in your skill list. Its a skill which is always present, and always has a chance to activate for Taekwon Masters.

When your character is moving or walking around, there is a very small chance that Miracle will trigger. When miracle triggers, your vision will go dark as if in Spirit mode. While under the effects of Miracle, all locations will be considered aligned with the cosmic bodies, allowing usage of the Heat skills on any map. All callender bound skills will be usable, allowing activation of all Protection skills. And last but not least, all monsters will be considered Stellar alligned, making them all affected by Stellar Wrath and Stellar Blessings.

When Miracle activates, you will be under its effects for one hour.

Solar, Lunar and Stellar Angel

Skill Type: Extra Skill
Max Level: N/A
Prerequisites: N/A

Description: Solar, Lunar and Stellar Angel is not a normal skill, as you neither need to put points in it, nor will it show up in your skill list. Its a skill which is always present, and always has a chance to activate for Taekwon Masters should the proper conditions be met.

Little is known about who or what the Angel is, and when she appears before you. The rumors say that your best chance to summon her is to be in happiness state with another taekwon and continue to use /doridori to recover Hp and Sp. Its just a rumor mind you!

When you successfully call the Angel, she will free you of your current Perception and Opposition alignments.

Ragnarok Ninja Guide

New Character Classes: Ninja
The Ninja is a new expanded class available for players to chose from beginning with episode 10.4: Hugel. Ninja's specialize in a variety of ranged shuriken and kunai attacks, stealth and melee strikes, and ninpo magic skills.

Ninja change class directly from Novice once you hit Job 10. Unlike most classes in RO, they do not have an advanced form. To make up for this, Ninjas have a different job experience requirement, and reach max job level at Job 70. While this one class role may seem restrictive, the different types of skills and weapons you can specialize in will make you different from those ninjas around you.

Ninja Details

Ninja has three main skill trees. Players may chose to specialize in one of these, or branch across several of them to make a unique build that suits them.

The following is information about specific weapons that ninjas have at thier disposal.

Togatana: Throwing Weapon technique. Those specializing in togatana will combine the use of Daggers with throwing weapons such as Shurikens and Kunais, and can wield and throw the massive two handed Huuma Shuriken.
Taijutsu: Martial Arts technique. Those specializing in taijutsu will use stealth and various skills to suprise the enemy with sudden, leathal attacks and evade incoming damage.
Ninpou: Ninja Magic technique. These skills use the various Ninja techniques to produce a varied number of elemental magical attacks.

Ninja's then must chose primarially between either strength with Togatana and Taijutsu or intelligence with Ninpou skills. How you specialize though your other stat points or traverse these skill trees is up to you.

Ninja's have different attack speed based on the weapon you have equipped. Unarmed, ninja's have a base attack speed of 160 (0.8s between attacks). With daggers, they have a base attack speed of 150 (1s between attacks). With Huuma Shuriken is 125 (1.5s between attacks). Huuma Shurikens are two handed weapons, and are required for the Huuma Shuriken Throwing skill. Ninja's cannot use berserk potions.

Ninja's HP/SP modifiers grow unusually, with thier lower levels increasing slowly and the modifier growing as they level. At max level Ninja's can expect to have roughly the same HP as that of a Bard/Dancer. Their sp modifier is roughly the same as Monks and Crusaders. At level 99 a Ninja with no stats would have 4080 HP and 522 SP. Ninja's have a base weight limit of 2600, and increased by 30 times thier base strength (same wight capacity as that of acolyte class characters).

Ninjas, like all other expanded jobs, cannot be adopted or rebirth. There is no restrictions on marrage though.

Equipment Restrictions

Ninjas like other classes are restricted in the type of gears which they can equip. The following is a comprehensive list of different gears that you can use. Of course, be careful that you meet the minimum level requirements as well of equipment you wish to use.

Headgear: Ninja's can equip all headgear that Thief's can with the following exceptions: Assassin mask, Coif, gemmed sallet, majestic goat, and spikey band. The following gears should be equipable but durring testing, could not be confirmed: lord circlet, incubus horn, model training hat, mine hat, jester hat, angel helm.
Armor: Can use any armor wearable by thief type characters, with the exception of wooden mail.
Shield: Ninja's can use Guards, Arm Guard and Advanced Arm Guard.
Shoes: Ninja's have been confirmed as being able to use sandals, shoes, shackles, crystal pumps. Ninja's should also be able to equip High Heels and Slepnir, but those could not be confirmed in testing.
Garment: Ninja's can use Hood, Muffler, Ragmuffin Manteau, and Ancient Cape. Pauldron or Heavenly Maiden Robe could not be confirmed in testing, but likely only Heavenly Maiden Robe is usable.
Weapons: In addition to Ninja specific daggers and Huuma Shuriken, Ninja's can equip all normal daggers equippable by Thiefs. Ninja's are unable to equip Assassin Dagger, Counter Dagger, and Curse Dagger.

Ninja Job Change Quest

In order to become a Ninja, you must be a novice at job level 10. A short quest is required before you will be able to change jobs.

The Ninja guild is located in the city of Amatsu. To get to Amatsu, an NPC near the wall north of the merchant guild at 8 o' clock direction in Alberta will take you there for free (location is 30, 64).
Enter the Ninja guild building located in the center of Amatsu (147, 136).
Inside the building, you won't see anyone. You'll have to move past the hidden wall at the back of the main room.
Inside the real guild room, talk to the guild master Couger Kai, and tell him you wish to join. He's a little wierd, but he'll ask you to deliver notice to his enemy who is hiding out in the highest point in Einbroch.
Make your way to the Einbroch Tower. The cheapest way to get to Einbroch would be to go back to alberta via boat (free), take the boat to izlude (500z), board the airship to Juno (1200z), in Juno switch from international to domestic flight (if you do it right, free), and then get off at einbroch. In einbroch, near the center tower there will be several NPC's that will allow you to go to the top of the tower for 10 zeny.
At the top of the Einbroch Tower, you'll find a young man. Talk to him, and he will ask that you bring 5 Cyfar and 1 Pracon.
When you give him the items, he will reveal himself as the person you were supposed to give the letter to. He'll give you a reply, and warp you to Amatsu. At this point return to Couger Kai in the ninja guild.
Kai will ask you bring him him 5 Cyfar and 1 Pracon now. You simply need to have these items on you, he will not take them from you.
Once you have the items he asked for, you'll be class changed to Ninja.

Ninja Throwing Weapons and Catalyst Stones

Ninja's have a variety of consumable items to cast some of thier skills. The are three kinds, Shuriken, Kunai, and Catalyst Stones.

Shurikens are used when casting the skill Throw Shuriken. Kunais are much the same and used for the skill Throw Kunai. Both Shurikens and Kunais are equipped by the ninja in the same way as arrows are equipped on a hunter. Shurikens are purchased from an NPC in the Ninja guild and are discountable, and Kunais need to be created using simple store bought items (with max discount they're about 38-40 zeny).

Catalyst Stones are an important part of Ninpou magic skills. These items are required to cast the stronger magic skills. These items all available from a ninja guild npc, and are also discountable.

The following is a list of different types of throwing weapons and catalysts.

Shuriken

Shuriken: 10 Attack, Neutral element, 0.5 weight, costs 4z each.
Nimbus Shuriken: 30 Attack, Neutral element, 0.5 weight, minimum level 20, costs 10z each.
Flash Shuriken: 45 Attack, Neutral element, 0.5 weight, minimum level 40, costs 20z each.
Sharp Leaf Shuriken: 70 Attack, Neutral element, 0.5 weight, minimum level 60, costs 40z each.
Thorn Needle Shuriken: 100 Attack, Neutral element, 0.5 weight, minimum level 80, costs 100z each.

Kunai

Icicle Kunai: 30 Attack, Water element, 2 weight. Make 10 with 8 Raincloud Shuriken and 2 Ice Stones.
Black Earth Kunai: 30 Attack, Earth element, 2 weight. Make 10 with 2 Pointed Leaf Shuriken and 2 Shadow Orbs.
High Wind Kunai: 30 Attack, Wind element, 2 weight. Make 10 with 4 Flash Shuriken and 2 Wind Stones.
Heat Wave Kunai: 30 Attack, Fire element, 2 weight. Make 10 with 1 Piercing Thorn Shuriken and 1 Flame Stones.
Fell Poison Kunai: 30 Attack, Poison element, 2 weight. Make 10 with 20 Shuriken and 1 Shadow Orbs.

Ninpou Catalysts

Flame Stone: Used to cast Crimson Fire Formation and Dragon Fire Formation. Costs 150z.
Ice Stone: Used to cast Water Escape Technique and Falling Ice Pillar. Costs 150z.
Wind Stone: Used to cast Lightning Crash and North Wind. Costs 150z.
Shadow Orb: Used to cast Mirror Image. Costs 200z.

Tatamigaeshi: Flip Tatami

Description: Throws back Tatami mats in 4 directions, kocking nearby targets back and blocking ranged attacks for a short period of time. The mats are flipped back in 4 directions from you with the area affected increased with higher levels of the skill, and only a person in line with these take damage. When hit by the skill, the enemies are thrown back 5 cells. After casting, the caster becomes immune to ranged attacks for 3 seconds. This appears to function like pneuma (only 1 tile though), centered on the caster. If the caster moves from where he cast, he loses the benefit of the ranged reduction. Tatamigaeshi can be cast on Magnetic Earth and will damage players as normal, but the ninja will not recieve the reduction in ranged damage. The damage caused by the skill is based on your attack and increased by damage cards as normal. There is no cast time, and an aftercast delay of 3 seconds.

Kagetobi: Shadow Leap

Description: Leaps from the shadows to a designated target. To activate Shadow Leap you must already be hidden. You can hide your character through the use of Haze Slasher or the effects of the Smokie Card. The distance you can jump is increased by the skill level, with the ability to jump up to 15 cells (circular radius from you) when maxed. When you move to your destination you will bypass any traps and skill effects in the way. The destination cell can be any valid cell within line of sight (so no jumping over walls). This means that you can traverse through cells that you cannot walk through but you can fire past. If you try to target an invalid cell you will get a skill failed message, but if you chose a valid cell which is currently occupied by an NPC or player, you will say "Shadow Leap!!" but you will not leave hiding or move. When used in WoE Shadow Leap will simply cause you to leave hiding.

Description: A combination of Shadow Leap and Haze Slasher, this skill leaps from the shadows to deal massive damage. Shadow Slash is considered a short range attack despite the maximum distance you can cast it from, with a max range equal to range of the highest level of Shadow Leap you have currently learned. When used, you teleport to your target and strike the opponent. The skill has an increased chance to cause a critical hit, though when you strike the opponent you will not see the crit box but it will still bypass defence of the target (like focused arrow strike). This critical chance is increased by your base crit rate. As with most melee attacks your attack power can be increased by damage increasing cards, equipment and element. Like Shadow Leap, Shadow Slash is restricted in WoE, and can only be cast on adjascent targets (no teleportation occurs). There is no cast time, and no aftercast delay.

Utsusemi: Ciceda Skin Shed

Description: Ciceda Skin Shed is an advanced Ninja technique that allows one to dissapear instantly from thier location to avoid damage. When you're struck in Skin Shedding mode, your character jumps back 7 cells from the direction he was hit. If you are in mid cast, this jump will not actually interupt your casting.

Ciceda Skin Shed has unusual rules for what type of rules for what type of attacks it can block. In practice, all skills which recieve bonus damage from equipping cards which increase damage by a % (such as hydra cards), can be avoided. This means by default magic cannot be avoided. Other skills that do not recieve bonus from % increasing cards cannot be dodged, but there are some notable exceptions. Some skills which use custom formulas for damage are handled on a case by case basis. Acid Bomb and the physical portion of Soul Destroyer are avoidable for example. The elemental attacks used by monsters are also unavoidable.

Hits you would have naturally dodged with regular flee, perfect dodge, kyrie elison and safety wall will all take priority over ciceda shell and not consume any of its charges. If Ciceda Skin Shed is used in combination with Mirror Image Technique, both skills will trigger when hit.

The Ciceda Skin Shed is not visible to the eye, but the caster gets an icon showing that it is currently active. Repeated casting simply renews the skill durration and number of hits. In War of Emperium, this skill will activate as normal but there will be no jump back. If you are hidden and hit by a blockable skill, you will jump back and still remain hidden. There is no cast time, and an aftercast delay of 1.5s.

Description: Mirror Image is one of the ultimate ninja techniques and uses multiple illusions to make its caster invulnerable to both melee and ranged physical damage. When used, Mirror Image will completely block hits up to a maximum of 5 times. This skill functions very much like an advanced version of Ciceda Skin Shed. In practice, Mirror Image lasts far longer than Ciceda Skin and blocks more hits and doesn't have the knockback effect which may be troublesome for melee classes. However, both skills block the same type of hits.

When cast, the player will turn bluish color and Ninja Aura will be released. A status icon will also represent that the skill is active. If you have Ciceda Skin Shed and Mirror Image both active at once, both will activate when hit. Mirror Image can be removed with Dispell. There is a cast time and aftercast delay associated with the skill, with higher levels lowering the cast time.

Description: Killing Strike is the second 'ultimate' technique and represents the ultimate sacrifice for a Ninja, where they use all thier power to strike a single target. Killing Strike uses all your remaining HP, and requires you to be in Ninja Aura state to cast. Ninja Aura is removed durring casting.

The damage from Killing Strike is based on your Strength stat, and how much HP you have remaining when you cast. The Strength portion of the formula does not change with higher levels of the skill, but increased levels of Killing Strike increase the efficiency of the HP portion. Strength boosts the damage by 40 points per strength, and the HP portion deals anywhere from 8% of your HP in damage up to 80%.

Killing Strike always hits its target, unless that target manages to block the skill using Pneuma or similar skill. Hence, Killing Strike is considered a range attack, and can actually be cast up to 5 cells away. The damage caused by the skill completely negates your attack power and the attack power of the weapon you have equipped. Cards which boost your damage by a percent however, including The Sign, will affect how much you hit for. The damage of the skill can be reduced by the armor defence on the target.

Killing Strike is always considered neutral element. There is absolutely no cast time and no delay.

Description: Ninpou is the spiritual power of the Ninja. By mastering this power the Ninja can increase the rate at which it gathers energy. Using Ninja Mastery then allows a Ninja to clear thier mind in order to gather thier spiritual energy faster. Ninja Mastery is basically the same as Increased SP Recovery for priests and mages. The skill gives you a boost in SP recovery every 10 seconds since the last time you moved. Higher levels increase the amount of SP you get every 10 seconds. In addition to the base recovery rate of the skill, additional SP recovery is gained based on your max SP.

This skill deals strong hits, and considering that level 1 does 3 hits (300% magic attack with 0.7s cast time and no delay), its a good skill to pick up a level in even if you don't want to invest in the water skilltree. As one of the basic Ninpou skills, there is no catalyst requirement.

Suiton: Watery Evasion

Description: Watery Evasion generates a huge area of swirling water to slow and trap those who attempt to pass through it. This skill drops the movement speed and agi of all enemies who move through it. In PVP and WoE settings, this skill affects everyone, allies or enemies, but does not affect any Ninja class characters. Agi and movement speed is removed as soon as they leave the water field. While the speed and agi of characters is reduced, Watery Evasion does not additionally remove speed increasing skills, such as increase agility, two hand quicken, and andrenalin rush. The reduction in AGI and Speed last for a short durration after they leave out of the affected area.

Watery Evasion cannot be cast on cells with Magnetic Earth. Blaze Shield will not be castable on Watery Evasion, and Watery Evasion will remove any Blaze Shield cells. Waterball and Aqua Benedict can be cast on Watery Evasion cells, though any cells used for these skills will be removed after casting.

The skill description for Watery Evasion states that it increases the damage of Freezing Spear by 20%. Unfortunately, in tests this has shown to not be the case.

Currently on jRo a bug was reported with Watery Evasion that caused the agi reduction to be permenantly applied to homunculus. Once agi has been reduced, it cannot be restored. If a homunculus runs into this more than once, its possible for thier AGI and FLEE to be reduced below 0. The only way to repair this is to have a Game Master roll back your character. Please be aware of this bug and be considerate to those homunculus users until its confirmed to be fixed.

One Ice Stone is consumed when casting this skill.

Sakufuu: First Wind

The length of this 'path' varies based on the skill level, with a width of 3 cells. If the targeted opponent moves outside of the range of the damage path, its possible that he may take no damage from First Wind. Enemies just outside of the path can still get hit but for very minimal damage.

First Wind has a short cast time, and no aftercast delay. This skill can be cast on Magnetic Earth. One Wind Stone is consumed when casting this skill.

New Character Classes: Gunslinger

The Gunslinger is a new expanded class available for players to chose from beginning with episode 10.4: Hugel. Gunslingers, as the name suggest, specialize in wielding a wide variety of guns and weapons, masters of ranged combat.

Gunslingers change class directly from Novice once you hit Job 10. Unlike most classes in RO, they do not have an advanced form. To make up for this, Gunslingers have a different job experience requirement, and reach max job level at Job 70. While this one class role may seem restrictive, the different types of skills and weapons you can specialize in will make you different from those gunslingers around you.

Gunslinger Details

Gunslingers have two different kinds of skills, 'Coin' skills and 'Gun' skills. Coin skills are usable with any weapon (even unarmed), and all require a certain number of gold coins to activate and use. Gold coins can be collected by using the skill 'Flip the Coin'. Gun skills are different as they are either passive or active skills that affect performance with only one or a specific group of weapons.

The following is information about specific weapons that gunslingers have at thier disposal.

Handgun: One of the main firearms available to Gunslingers. Handguns are dual wielded (like all gunslinger weapons), and have the largest variety of specific skills available to them. All rifle skills are also usable with handguns, though handguns suffer lower damage and hit rate than rifles. Handgun specific skills are Chain Action, Rapid Shower, and Desperado. Handguns have a base attack speed of 130 (1.4s between attacks).
Rifles: Similar to handguns, rifles are more accurate, longer range, and usually have a higher chance to critical attack, but are slower firing. Rifle specific skills are Tracking, Disarm, and Piercing Attack. Rifles have a base attack speed of 125 (1.5s between attacks).
Shotguns: Shotguns are very slow compared to Handguns and Rifles, but all shotguns pack a heavy punch, and deal 3x3 splash damage. While slow, Shotguns have some of the highest damaging skills. Shotguns specific skills are Dust, Spread Attack, and Full Buster. Shotguns have a base attack speed of 50 (3s between attacks).
Grenade Launcher: Grenade launchers are also very slow, but they pack a much higher attack than any other weapon in game. Also, unlike the other guns that use regular bullets which are restricted to only neutral and holy elements, grenade launchers are powered by spheres, which while a little bit more costly to create, come in all kinds of different elements. Grenade Launchers have one skill, Ground Drift. They have a base attack speed of 50 (3s between attacks).
Gatling Gun: Gatling Gun on its own is pretty slow and packs about the same punch as handguns do. However, with the right combination of skills, you can crank them up to beastly speeds. With a proper Agi / Dex build, its possible to reach the maximum attack speed of 190. Gatling Guns have only one specific skill, Gatling Fever. Thier base attack speed is 130 (1.4s between attacks).

All types of guns deal full damage against all three sizes of targets.

While Gunslingers share the same faults as other ranged attack classes as they are vulnerable to damage, thier HP mod is not so bad. Thier HP and SP modifiers grow unusually, starting off slowly but increasing with higher levels. At level 99 with no stats Gunslingers will have about 4510 HP (just under rogue/hunter), and 456 SP (just under that of Monk). Thier base weight limit is 2800, and increased by 30 times thier base strength.

Like hunters with bow attacks, gunslingers do not have thier attack boosted by skills that boost attack speed, such as advanced andrenaline rush. Because of thier coins, gunslingers cannot gain or recieve spirit spheres from any skill or item. Gunslingers can use all 3 types of attack speed potion, given they hit the required level to use them.

Gunslingers, like all other expanded jobs, cannot be adopted or rebirth. There is no restrictions on marrage though.

Equipment Restrictions

Gunslingers like other classes are restricted in the type of gears which they can equip. The following is a comprehensive list of different gears that you can use. Of course, be careful that you meet the minimum level requirements as well of equipment you wish to use.

Headgear:Believed to be able to use any headgear usable by archer type characters, with the exception of cap and goggles.
Armor: Gunslingers are restricted to armors that can be worn by all classes and all except novice.
Shield: Gunslingers can't make much use of shields because all thier weapons are two handed, but they can equip Guards if required.
Shoes: Can use any shoes wearable by archer type characters.
Garment: Can use any garment wearable by archer type characters.

Gunslinger Job Change Quest

In order to become a Gunslinger, you must be a novice at job level 10. A short quest is required before you will be able to change jobs.

Make your way to the Gunslinger guild in the city of Einbroch. The guild is located under the Einbroch Tower in the middle of the city with the entrance on the left side (location is 134, 199).
Fill out the application to become a gunslinger. He will ask you to go to Payon.
In Payon, in the 5 o' clock direction, you'll find Fansole.
Fansole will ask you for some random items. Depending on your base level the items he asks you to bring may be different. He may ask you to bring some or all of the following: 10 Scell, 3 Fluff, 1 Trunk, 3 Zargon, 3 Green Herbs, 3 Rainbow Shells.
Give the items he requested, and you'll also need to give him 1 milk.
Return to the Einbroch Gunslinger Guild. Talk to the guild master, and he will change you into a gunslinger.

Gunslinger Ammunition

When attacking with a firearm, the attack power and element of the bullet you're firing are added to the base attack of the weapon. This element can be overwritten by elemental endows however. In addition to this, many types of ammunition have additional effects that can be caused against the target.

There are two types of ammunition. The main type, bullets, are used by the main guns Handgun, Rifle, Shotgun and Gatling Gun. Bullets can be purchased from an NPC in the gunslinger guild, and can be discounted. The other kind, spheres, are used to power the shots of Grenade Launchers. To get spheres you will have to manufacture them by gathering certain items.

An NPC in the gunslinger can make bullet cases for you. Bullet cases are similar to arrow quivers. They contain 500 bullets or spheres, and weigh 25 for regular bullet cases and 35 for sphere cases. You can make any number of cases you want by bringing the bullets you want to box up to a gunslinger guild NPC, for a handling fee of 500z per case.

The following is a list of different types of bullets and spheres.

Bullets

Bullet: 10 Attack, Neutral element, 0.2 weight. Costs 1z.
Silver Bullet: 15 Attack, Holy element, 0.2 weight. Costs 15z.
Blood Bullet: 30 Attack, Neutral element, 0.2 weight. Small chance to cause bleeding when attacking. Costs 30z.

Spheres

Fire Sphere: 50 Attack, Fire element, 0.5 weight. You can make 30 spheres with 1 Phracon, 1 Emveretarcon, and 2 burning hearts.
Wind Sphere: 50 Attack, Wind element, 0.5 weight. You can make 30 spheres with 1 Phracon, 1 Emveretarcon, and 3 cyfar.
Ice Sphere: 50 Attack, Water element, 0.5 weight. You can make 30 spheres with 1 Phracon, 1 Emveretarcon, and 2 brigan.
Poison Sphere: 50 Attack, Poison element, 0.5 weight. Chance to cause poison when attacking. You can make 30 spheres with 1 Phracon, 1 Emveretarcon, and 10 venom canine.
Blinding Sphere: 50 Attack, Dark element, 0.5 weight. Chance to blind target when attacking. You can make 30 spheres with 1 Phracon, 1 Emveretarcon, and 5 squid ink.

The following is a comprehensive list of all the gunslinger weapons, thier stats, and how they are obtained.

	Six Shooter[1] A six shot rotating magazine pistol for firing in rapid succession. The most basic firearm for any Gunner. Hit-10. Type: Handgun Attack: 30 Weight: 40 Weapon Level: 1 Required Level: 10 Usable Class: Gunslinger Obtained when you job change to gunsligner. Six Shooter[1] or Branch[3] is given to you when you change.
	Six Shooter[2] A six shot rotating magazine pistol for firing in rapid succession. The most basic firearm for any Gunner. Hit-10. Type: Handgun Attack: 30 Weight: 40 Weapon Level: 1 Required Level: 10 Usable Class: Gunslinger Dropped by monster Holden at 0.05% chance.
	Crimson Bolt[1] A dark red colored revolver which looks like the color of blood. It is rumored to be cursed. Hit-10. Type: Handgun Attack: 45 Weight: 45 Weapon Level: 2 Required Level: 35 Usable Class: Gunslinger Purchased from gunslinger guild for 20,000z.
	Crimson Bolt[2] A dark red colored revolver which looks like the color of blood. It is rumored to be cursed. Hit-10. Type: Handgun Attack: 45 Weight: 45 Weapon Level: 2 Required Level: 35 Usable Class: Gunslinger Dropped by Metaling at 0.05% chance.
	Garrison[1] A rarity which was manufactured custom made. This rare revolver has its maker's name etched into it. Hit-10. Type: Handgun Attack: 70 Weight: 50 Weapon Level: 2 Required Level: 55 Usable Class: Gunslinger Dropped by Goblin Steamrider at 0.05% chance. Crafted in the gunslinger guild (182,85). To create it you will need to gather 50 steel, 3 elunium, 1 oridicon, 50 coal, 20 rusty screw, and 30,000 zeny.
	Garrison[2] A rarity which was manufactured custom made. This rare revolver has its maker's name etched into it. Hit-10. Type: Handgun Attack: 70 Weight: 50 Weapon Level: 2 Required Level: 55 Usable Class: Gunslinger Crafted in the gunslinger guild (182,85). A small quest is required before you can craft this item. Talk to Garrison in the gunslinger guild. You will have to have a garrison[1] weapon on hand when you talk to him. He will ask you to gather the following items: 10 steel, 1 elunium, 10 emverticon, 30 coal, and 10 rusty screw. You'll have to talk to Rave in the Lighthalzen slums (322,247). Go back to Garrison, and he'll get angry and drop you to 10% max hp. Come back to him, and he'll take your garrison[1] and make it into a garrison[2]. Once this is complete, you can make garrison[2]'s with just the items.
	Gold Lux A dazzling, golden colored revolver that clearly values style and flashiness over functionality. One would get alot of attention holding this. Hit-10. Chance to autocast 'Flip The Coin' of a level equal to what you have currently learned when attacking. Type: Handgun Attack: 20 Weight: 50 Weapon Level: 3 Required Level: 12 Usable Class: Gunslinger Dropped by Teddy Bear at 0.05% chance.
	Branch[3] A small firearm with a lengthened barrel to improve accuracy at a long range. Despite its appearance, it's easier to wield than a pistol. Type: Rifle Attack: 50 Weight: 50 Weapon Level: 1 Required Level: N/A Usable Class: Gunslinger Dropped by Cruiser at 0.05% chance. Purchased from an NPC in the gunslinger guild for 3,000z. Obtained when you job change to gunsligner. Six Shooter[1] or Branch[3] is given to you when you change.
	Cyclonic[1] Appropriately named after the power of a storm, this rifle delivers a strong explosive round at a target from far away. Hit + 10. Critical Rate + 10. Type: Rifle Attack: 120 Weight: 70 Weapon Level: 2 Required Level: 24 Usable Class: Gunslinger Purchased from an NPC in the gunslinger guild for 17,500z.
	Cyclonic[2] Appropriately named after the power of a storm, this rifle delivers a strong explosive round at a target from far away. Hit + 10. Critical Rate + 10. Type: Rifle Attack: 120 Weight: 70 Weapon Level: 2 Required Level: 24 Usable Class: Gunslinger Dropped by Antique Firelock at 0.05% chance.
	Dusk[1] This model has a great improvement in attack power over existing rifles. The rifle's name means to "Bring the gift of darkness" to your enemies. Hit + 10. Critical Rate + 10. Type: Rifle Attack: 150 Weight: 75 Weapon Level: 2 Required Level: 56 Usable Class: Gunslinger Dropped by Dimik (Green/Formless) at 0.05% chance.
	Rolling Stone[1] The sound of firing this gun is said to sound like the great roar of tumbling stones, and hence it was named the Rolling Stone. This weapon is crude, so take care when firing it. Splash Damage. Type: Shotgun Attack: 135 Weight: 90 Weapon Level: 1 Required Level: 14 Usable Class: Gunslinger Purchased at the Gunslinger guild for 12,000z.
	Black Rose[1] A fast action, pitch black remodelled shotgun, which has improved power with two separate barrels. Splash Damage. Type: Shotgun Attack: 180 Weight: 90 Weapon Level: 2 Required Level: 35 Usable Class: Gunslinger Purchased at the Gunslinger guild for 32,000z.
	Gate Keeper The true name is said to mean the "Defender of the Impregnable fortress". This is the most powerful shotgun currently available. Splash Damage. Autocasts Spread Attack Lv6 when attacking (aprox 3%~5%). Type: Shotgun Attack: 210 Weight: 100 Weapon Level: 3 Required Level: 55 Usable Class: Gunslinger Dropped by Archdam at 0.05% chance.
	Drifter[1] Named after a vagrant, who wanders from place to place. This gun fires in rapid succession with an electronically controlled rotating barrel. Type: Gatling Gun Attack: 50 Weight: 230 Weapon Level: 2 Required Level: 55 Usable Class: Gunslinger Dropped by Venatu (Gray/Formless) at 0.05% chance. Obtainable from an item quest. Bring to an NPC in the gunslinger guild 70 steel, 5 elunium, 3 oridicon, 70 coal, 50 rusty screw, and 50,000z, and he will give you a Drifter[1]. You must be level 56 or higher to make this weapon.
	Butcher[0] This gun fires in rapid succession with an electronically controlled rotating barrel. This gun is aptly named for the terrifying power it gives its wielder. Increases critical rate against brute type monsters by 10%. Type: Gatling Gun Attack: 75 Weight: 250 Weapon Level: 2 Required Level: 68 Usable Class: Gunslinger Dropped by Panzer Goblin at 0.05% chance. Obtained from an item quest. Bring to an NPC in the gunslinger guild 1000 orc claw and 1000 skel-bone, and he will give you a Butcher[1].
	Butcher[1] This gun fires in rapid succession with an electronically controlled rotating barrel. This gun is aptly named for the terrifying power it gives its wielder. Increases critical rate against brute type monsters by 10%. Type: Gatling Gun Attack: 75 Weight: 250 Weapon Level: 2 Required Level: 68 Usable Class: Gunslinger Dropped by Gemini-S58 at 0.05% chance. This weapon can be obtained from a short quest. Talk to the NPC that you obtained the Butcher[1] from (you must have made one to continue). He will let you know that he can't make the slotted version. Then go to Herison near the north-east entrance of lighthalzen. Herison will break the butcher, and to appologize he will lend you his crimson bolt[1]. Go back to the gunslinger guild, and bring the NPC 30 of any kind of grenade sphere. Go back to Herison, and he will ask that you bring him 2 elunium, 1 oridecon, 20 coal, and 10 steel. Hand him his crimson bolt back, and he will give you the Butcher[2].
	Destroyer[0] This grenade launcher boasts a high power explosive attack. Has a small chance to break the targets armor when fired at short range. Gunslinger Job Experience Chart

Because gunslingers only have a single job, thier job experience chart is different than normal classes. From level 1 to 35, the experience required is half that of second class characters. From 36 to 50, the rate jumps to one half that of second class characters plus that of first class characters. From 51 to 70, the experience required follows a custom formula.

Description: When you activate Desperado, you spin around and strike all targets nearby. Desperado fires 10 bullets, and randomly strikes targets. Of course, line of sight is needed for targets to be hit. Higher levels of the skill increases the amount of damage each hit does. Desperado is considered a short range attack, and hence bypasses pneuma, but can be blocked by safety wall. Cards and equipment that boost ranged damage such as Archer Skeleton Card and Bow Thimble to not affect Desperado, though standard cards which boost your base attack and damage by a percent will function properly. Desperado has no cast time, and a 1 second aftercast delay.

Targets closest to you have a higher chance to take more hits, and each target can get hit from anywhere from 0-10 hits. The following chart describes the average number of hits and average damage (presuming level 10) of desperado, based on thier position around you.

Disarm

Description: Disarm fires a single shot at the weapon or hand of the opponent, causing them to drop thier weapon. Disarm functions similar to that of the Rogue skill Divest Weapon, and when successful Disarm prevents that target from re-equipping thier weapon for a short period of time. Each level of Disarm increases the base success rate of the skill, and the success rate increases when the DEX of the Gunslinger is higher than that of the target. The ranged is fixed at 7 cells and is not increased by Snake Eye.

Disarm is considered a ranged physical attack. The damage and its disabling effects can be blocked with the use of Pneuma. Disarm does a small amount of damage equal to your regular attack. If the damage caused by Disarm is blocked, reflected or otherwise negated, the target will not have a chance to lose thier weapon.

When cast on a monster, that monsters attack power is reduced by 25%. Disarm is ineffective on Boss type monsters.

Target: Single Target
Description: Spread Attack uses several bullets to strike a large area. While the skill is not quite as powerful as other Shotgun skills, Spread Attack affects a larger area than any other gunslinger skill. Regardless of the range this is cast at, its considered a ranged attack meaning its blockable by pneuma and affected by ranged damage reduction items, but is augmented by items which increase your ranged damage. In order to cast Spread Attack, you must chose an enemy you wish to fire at, as Spread Attack isn't ground targeted.

Ground Drift

Skill Type: Active / Ground Targeted Ranged Trap
Weapon Restriction: Grenade Launcher Only

Prerequisites: Single Action Lv5, Dust Lv3, Full Buster Lv5, Spread Attack Lv7

Range: 10 Cells and increased by Snake Eye
Target: Ground Targeted
Description: Ground Drift fires a grenade sphere at a particular location as a proximity explosive. Grenades last on the ground for a short period of time. When an enemy comes near one of these grenades, it explodes and deals damage within a 3x3 area. Grenades placed in this way won't be triggered by or hurt friendly players.

Ground Drift can be used on any walkable cell within line of sight of the player. Ground Drift cannot be placed on Magnetic Earth however, and Pneuma will block both the casting and the damage caused by the grenades. Its possible to stack grenades and even shoot them at the feet of enemies to immediately deal damage. Damage caused by Ground Drift is equal to that of a regular hit to a target (100%), plus an additional bonus damage from the skill in the form of defence bypassing neutral element damage. Ground Drift has a two second cast time which is reducable by dex.

In addition to bonus damage, each type of sphere causes additional status effects. With the exception of the Flare Sphere, these status effects are avoidable and can be reduced by normal means.

Fire Sphere: 5 Cell Knockback.
Wind Sphere: Chance to cause stun.
Poison Sphere: Chance to cause poison.
Blinding Sphere: Chance to cause blind.
Ice Sphere: Chance to cause freezing.

I. Introduction

There have been many questions about this unique job class but few have been
answered well. This guide hopefully answers all the common and uncommon ques-
tions about the wonderful and fun world of the Perma Taekwon.

II. Abbreviations

TK - Taekwon Kid
HP - Health Points
SP - Skill Points
MHP - Maximum Health Points
MSP - Maximum Skill Points
PvM - Player versus Monster
WoE - War of Emperium

III. Benefits of a Ranker Taekwon

1. Below level 90 - a TK included in the top 10 rankers get to combo different
kicks using only one stance for unlimited use. Example: Roundhouse Stance >
Roundhouse Kick > Tornado Kick > Heel Drop. Contrary to popular belief, you CAN
combo Counter Kick with other kicks as demonstrated in the PvP video below.

2. Level 90 Above - Aside from the benefits stated above. A top 10 TK once level
90 gets a cool benefit of 3X MHP/SHP. All the Taekwon skills will become avai-
lable and maxed out even if you haven't previously placed skill points in it.

IV. Downside of a Ranker Taekwon

1. When you eventually make it to the top 10 but got booted out, you will lose
all the benefits of a ranker TK and just become and ordinary TK.

Description: Enable the caster to run with incredible speed. At levels 7 and
above, this skill endows the caster with the Spurt status, which will
temporarily increase STR if the caster stops running and is bare handed, but
is canceled once the caster equips a weapon.

My Comment: I treat this skill similar to a Weapons Mastery skill. Maximizing
this skill gives you +100 ATK bonus when weaponless. Since you will be
weaponless for the rest of your life, might as well get this maxed. Not to
mention you get to go where you want real fast.

Leap
Skill Type: Movement
Max Level: 5
SP Cost: 50 sp
Cast Time: Depends on skill level. No aftercast delay.
Prerequisites: None

Description: Leap uses the Taekwon's leg strength to perform a great jump,
leaping over obstacles and hazards on the way. When you activate Leap, you will
jump forward a certain amount of cells depending on the skill used. There is no
restrictions, as long as the target cell is a valid walkable cell and not
currently occupied by another player, the jump will succeed. If the target
isn't valid, your character will simply stay in its original spot.

The Leap skill is usable on all maps, including WoE and PvP.

My Comment: At first this may seem like a useless skill. But it can save your
life when being mobbed. It also has tactical advantages in WoE. Also you can't
use Leap in normal maps where teleporting is disabled.

Peaceful Break
Skill Type: Passive
Max Level: 10
Prerequisites: None

Description: Peaceful Break is a passive skill which activates when ever you
sit next to another Taekwon class character. Once it activates, you will re-
generate HP quickly over time. The base recovery rate of Peaceful Break in-
creases as you have higher Vit.

You can gain an additional +30 HP recovery on the next regen interval by using
/doridori emote while its active.

This skill will not work over 50% weight.

Happy Break
Skill Type: Passive
Max Level: 10
Prerequisites: None

Description: Happy Break, like Peaceful Break is a passive skill which
activates when ever you sit next to another Taekwon class character. Once it
activates, you will regenerate SP quickly over time. The base recovery rate of
Happy Break
increases as you have higher Vit.

You can gain an additional +3 SP recovery on the next regen interval by using
/doridori emote while its active.

When two Taekwon players under the influence of Happy Break use /doridori, they
both gain the "Happiness" status. An icon will show on the right side which
resembles gloria, and for 30 minutes you will be able to use an Earth Spike
Scroll with a high probability of it not being consumed durring the cast.
Casting earth spike this way will consume 10sp. The chance of the scroll
actually being consumed is 10% at level 1, 1% at level 10.

This skill will not work over 50% weight.

Kihop
Skill Type: Passive
Max Level: 5
Prerequisites: None

Description: Kihop increases your attack power by a percentage based on the
number of people in your party that are currently on the map with you. Kihop
affects all regular attacks, and stacks with, but does not multiply damage from
skills (ie: if fighting chant gives you a 50% attack bonus and you do an
attack skill that deals 300% attack, the total damage will be 350%).

My Comment: This would benefit you greatly if you're a party person. I
wouldn't even touch a single skill point here if it wasn't a pre-requisite for

Mild Wind
Skill Type: Supportive

Cast Time: No cast time, no aftercast delay.
Prerequisites: Peaceful Rest 5, Enjoyable Rest 5, Fighting Chant 5

Description: Mild Wind allows the Taekwon character to change his weapon element
on the fly to what ever is appropriate to the situation. The level of the skill
determines what element you will change your attack to. Mild Wind is instant
casting, and with the sole exception of holy element endow, mild wind will not
cancel if you change weapons.

My Comment: This is THE skill. This will endow you with 7 different elements
which is applicable in levelling. For the longest time only archer classes had
access to the Ghost elemental for damage. Now with this skill, you can easily
hunt ghost elemental monsters. Ghostring hunt anyone?

Tornado Stance
Skill Type: Stance

Prerequisites: Tornado Kick 1

Description: Tornado Stance is a stance skill. Like all the stance skills,
Tornado Stance is a skill which you can activate or deactivate at any time and
has no immediate effect.

When Tornado Stance is active, while attacking there is a 15% chance with each
hit that your character will stop attacking and will say "Tornado Stance!!"
above his head. This delay lasts for 2 seconds, and durring this time you may
chose to use the skill Tornado Kick.

It is possible to have multiple stances prepared. If you class change to Soul
Linker, you will be unable to activate any stances.

My Comment: You can't use Tornado kick without this. Get it if you want to use
Tornado Kick.

Tornado Kick
Skill Type: Attack
Max Level: 7

Description: When you activate Tornado Kick, your character will do a spinning
kick which damages all monsters in a 5 x 5 area around you.

Tornado kick is a Taekwon Kick skill, and can only be activated after the skill
effect of Tornado Stance triggers. If you class change to Soul Linker, you will
be unable to activate this skill.

Description: Heel Drop Stance is a stance skill. Like all the stance skills,
Heel Drop Stance is a skill which you can activate or deactivate at any time

When Heel Drop Stance is active, while attacking there is a 15% chance with each
hit that your character will stop attacking and will say "Heel Drop Stance!!"
above his head. This delay lasts for 2 seconds, and durring this time you may
chose to use the skill Heel Drop.

It is possible to have multiple stances prepared. If you class change to Soul
Linker, you will be unable to activate any stances.

My Comment: Just like any other stance, get this if you want to use Heel Drop.

Description: When you activate Heel Drop, your character will strike the target
opponent hard with the heel of your foot. Heel Drop has a high chance to cause
stun for three seconds when it hits.

Heel Drop is a Taekwon Kick skill, and can only be activated after the skill
effect of Heel Drop Stance triggers. If you class change to Soul Linker, you
will be unable to activate this skill.

My Comment: This is a fairly good kick. It has it's uses in PVP and in hunting
as well. Do take note that the STUN resistance from VIT still applies here.

Description: Roundhouse Stance is a stance skill. Like all the stance skills,
Roundhouse Stance is a skill which you can activate or deactivate at any time

When Roundhouse Stance is active, while attacking there is a 15% chance with
each hit that your character will stop attacking and will say "Roundhouse
Stance!!" above his head. This delay lasts for 2 seconds, and durring this time
you may chose to use the skill Roundhouse.

It is possible to have multiple stances prepared. If you class change to Soul
Linker, you will be unable to activate any stances.

Roundhouse
Skill Type: Attack

Description: When you activate Roundhouse, you do a circular kick that does
great damage on one target and sends the rest of your opponents flying. When
roundhouse is used, all monsters in a 3 x 3 area around the targeted enemy are
knocked back.

Roundhouse is a Taekwon Kick skill, and can only be activated after the skill
effect of Roundhouse Kick Stance triggers. If you class change to Soul Linker,
you will be unable to activate this skill.

My Comment: I personally don't see any merits from this skill aside from the
fact that it can be COMBO'ed with other kicks when you're in the Top 10.
Otherwise, Tornado Kick is the better mob skill and a flywing or Teleport Clip
does better when you want to escape from a mob.

Counter Kick Stance
Skill Type: Stance
Max Level: 1

Prerequisites: Counter Kick 1

Description: Counter Kick Stance is a stance skill. Like all the stance skills,
Counter Kick Stance is a skill which you can activate or deactivate at any time
and has no immediate effect.

Counter Kick differs from other kicks that when it is active, there is a 20%
chance that the kick will activate while attacking. The delay lasts for 2
seconds, and durring this time you may chose to use the skill Counter Kick.

It is possible to have multiple stances prepared. If you class change to Soul
Linker, you will be unable to activate any stances.

Counter Kick
Skill Type: Attack

Description: When you activate Counter Kick, you take the opponents motion and
turn it back against him, dealing a strong blow. Because of the nature of the
attack, counter kick cannot be dodged.

Counter kick is a Taekwon Kick skill, and can only be activated after the skill
effect of Counter Kick Stance triggers. If you class change to Soul Linker, you
will be unable to activate this skill.

My Comment: This for me is the best SINGLE TARGET skill a TK can have. It does
400% damage and is 100% accurate. Meaning, it will never miss it's target.
Very useful for hunting high AGI monsters and has some Boss Hunting potentials
as well.

Tumbling / Break Fall
Skill Type: Stance
Max Level: 1
SP Cost: 1 Sp
Cast Time: No cast time, no aftercast delay.
Prerequisites: Flying Kick 7

Description: Tumbling is similar to other stance skills, but unlike other
stances breakfall activates only when taking ranged damage. When Tumbling
triggers, you will fully dodge the attack. While there is no delay associated
with this skill like there is with other stances, but after Tumbling activates
to dodge an attack you may elect to use Flying Kick to jump instantly to that
target and deal bonus damage.

If you use Tumbling while in the Spurt state given from the Running skill,
Tumbling will actually trigger to block melee attacks as well.

It is possible to have multiple stances prepared. Tumbling, unlike most stances
is usable as a Soul Linker. However, you will not be able to use it to block
melee skills by comboing with Sprint state.

My Comment: This is like the TKs Parrying/Auto Guard skill. With 20% dodge rate,
no after dodge move penalty and only 1 skill point, this skill is almost godly.
It can be very useful in WoE and PvP.

Flying Kick
Skill Type: Attack
Max Level: 7
SP Cost: Depends on skill level.
Cast Time: Instant cast, no delay.
Prerequisites: None

Description: Flying Kick is a ranged kick where you leap at an opponent,
instantly closing the gap between you. Flying Kick is a targeted attack, and
can be used from up to 10 cells away.

Flying Kick can also be activated after the stance breakfall triggers. If this
happens, you will do bonus damage with your kick, depending on your base level.
Also, if you target an opponent with Flying Side Kick while actually running,
you will also gain this bonus damage.

Flying Kick has a unique property that allows it to break any Spirit type skills
granted by a Soul Linker. If your target has any Spirit skills active or bonus
attack speed granted by berserk potion pitcher skill, they become dispelled.
The Preserve skill protects a target from this dispell.

This skill can be plagerised by a Rogue or Stalker. As a kick skill, this is
unable to be used by a Soul Linker.

My Comment: You can also use this skill to "fly" to higher and lower elevations.
If an archer class can hit it from a lower elevation, you can "fly" up there too
with this skill.

Taekwon Mission
Skill Type: Ranking (/taekwon)
Max Level: 1
SP Cost: 10 Sp
Cast Time: 1 second cast time.
Prerequisites: Fighting Chant 5

Description: Taekwon Mission allows a Taekwon character to undertake a special
mission to gain ranking as a taekwon. The top 10 ranking taekwon characters get
special bonuses.

The first time you activate Taekwon Mission, the target you are currently
fighting will be declared as a mission target. In order to get a taekwon point,
you will have to kill 100 of that kind of monster (not necessarially in a row).
Once you complete your 100 kills, you will gain one point and be randomly
assigned a new target.

If you ever find the choice of target to be unfair, if you have 0 kills towards
the current mission there is a low chance that when using Taekwon Mission again
will assign you to a new target.

Being one of the Taekwon characters with the top 10 points is very worthwhile.
When you become a Taekwon ranker, you will be able to use any kick skill with-
out waiting for the stance to activate. In effect, you have unlimited usage of
your kicks. Also, if you are level 90 or higher, you gain three times your max
hp and sp. You however will lose the bonus if you are bumped off the top 10.
You can check the top 10 ranking by using /taekwon in the RO client.

Taekwon Mission is available only to Taekwon Kid characters. If you class
change to Soul Linker or Taekwon Master, you will lose your existing points/rank
and be unable to use Taekwon Mission anymore.

My Comment: This is the TK Ranker's bread and butter skill. Get this ASAP if
you want to compete in the ranks. Without it you can't gain ranker points at
all. I'd only like to point that from experience, you don't lose your ranker
points if you changed to either Star Gladiator or Soul Linker. The points you
a acquired will remain in the list as long as it qualifies in the top 10.
However you can't gain points anymore and it is inevitable that you will be
kicked out of the list.

VI. Builds

The very nature of ranker Perma Taekwons scream PvM because of the Taekwon
Mission skill. To become a competetive TK ranker, you must streamline your
build to become an effective monster killer. This guide will present to you
only 2 types of major builds designed to make you competetive in realm of
Taekwon Rankers. Just remember this motto: Kicks are cheap, Buffs are expensive.
(in terms of SP usage)

Taekwon Job Bonuses at Job 50

The PURE AGI
Gets very high ASPD and Flee at the same time. This build is probably the most
ideal and easiest for hunting. Because of high flee, you can become very
versatile in the monsters that you can hunt. Stats include job bonuses and
equipment stats unless otherwise indicated.

The PURE STR
Since Perma Taekwons are weaponless for life, the only way to reach maximum
damage is by naturally getting your base str to its highest possible. With
STR gears and buffs, you can reach 2000+ one time damage with your Kicks.
The highest possible boxed STR you can reach as of now is 150.

Adding VIT
Only add vit on the following scenarios: If you prefer to get more HP from the
level 90 3XHP/SP bonus; if youhave plans to bring your TK in the WoE scene. Or
you get annoyed from status ailments while hunting monsters. Ranker TKs at level
99 with only 1 vit gets around 13-14k MHP. 30-50 VIT is quite suitable.

Adding INT
Only add int when you are usually low on SP restoratives. The MHP of TKs
(unless ranked and 90) is quite low so it might be a good idea to add some
INT depending on your economic status and playing style. 24-30 INT is quite
suitable.

Adding LUK
While some might disagree with me, I strongly discourage adding LUK in your
build unless you plan to change to Star Gladiator someday. CRITS can be quite
nice but it could just get in the way of the game computations that triggers
your kick stances. Much like the same reason why CRITS and a thief's Double
Attack skill don't mix.

VII. Equipment
TKs can equip almost all gears with the description "For all jobs except
novice". I have here a screenshot of the highest possible DEF type gears a
TK can wear.

VIII. Frequently Asked Questions

1. How can I earn points for the TK rankings?
Firstly you must have Taekwon Mission skill. Cast it once and you will be
assigned to kill a certain monster 100 times. It doesn't have to be in a row
and there is no time limit. Just kill 100 of those monsters and you earn 1
point. As soon as you earn 1 point, you will be given another RANDOM monster
to kill when you cast Taekwon Mission. Now if you think you can't kill the
monster assigned to you, see the next question.

The game will update you once you've finished a current mission.

2. Can I change the target monster in Taekwon Mission?
Yes. Simply spam the skill until the target changes. It may take a while but
it will eventually change. Using the Inn NPC will help you alot as you will
be spending lots of SP here. Keep in mind that you can only change a mission
when you still haven't killed at least one monster on the current mission.

3. How can I see the current ranking?
Simply type /taekwon on your chatbox and press enter.

3. How can I combo kicks?
You must be a top 10 ranker to gain access to this feature. Doesn't have to
be level 90. You must have at least one stance active. As soon as the stance
activates, first perform the kick associated with that stance then follow it
up with a different kick. You can't combo the same kicks consecutively. You
can include Counter Kick in the combos as well contrary to popular belief.

Err. You really can't equip a weapon. Don't worry.

5. Can I use Leap during WoE?
Yes you can, however if you are a guildmaster with Emergency Call, the guild
skill's casting time will be doubled. 10 seconds instead of 5 seconds. It's
Gravity's way of balancing things out.

6. How about Sprint?
Yes you can also use this in WoE.

7. How can I achieve Spurt status?
Cast Sprint then immediately stop on your tracks by recasting Sprint again.
A "running man" icon should appear on your right screen if you succesfully
did it.

Introduction of the guild war

=============================

The War of emperium also pronuce as WOE in short form is a event where guilds

crashes together to get castles as their territory. The amount of guild members

total is 52 members and the alliance functions helps in making a second guild

and third guild. The biggest record is 5 castles hold by one guild. Before we

begin the guide, the infomanation is given by my guidemates and it is true so

don't think that it is not true. So lets begin the guide.

The basic concepts of guild war

-------------------------------

You can create a guild by typeing a comand /guild and you will need an emperium

to do so.

This part is very familar as it is a logic part where you can find in guide

books and websites. I will write it here for reffence.

Four castles, prontera, geffen, payon and aldebaran, by conquaring the castle,

the guild will be able to clam the castle as its own base. This is the basic

concepts of the guild war.

The guild skills and disable mode

---------------------------------

Since the update of the new patch, the new skills now have active skills to use

now lets look at them.

Offical guild approval

Series: Passive

Target: The guild

Description: This is the only skill you need to get to attack the emperium,

without this, your guild cannot even touch the emperium.

Contract with kapra

Series: Passive

Target: The guild

Description: This is the skill where guild leaders can apply kapra in their

castles. This skill helps alot because with a kapra in their castle, they will

not need to go back to the city to resupply again. The kapra provides storage

and warp services as well as cart services.

Guild extention

Series: Passive

Target: The guild

Description: Without this skill, you cannot reach the amount of 52 guild

members, this is usefull for a powerful guild.

Guardian Research

Series: Passive

Target: The guild

Description: Hire guardians, three types of guardians are hired. Archer

guardian, soilder guardian and knight guardian.

PS, the guardians:

Archer guardians: They normaly stand at the front of the castles and entrance

and normaly on second floor.

Soilder guardians: They normaly stand inside of the castles

Knight guardians: There is only one knight guardian and it is called the leader

of the guardians and it normaly stands outside the emperium room or outside the

emperium room.

New guild skills

----------------

Built up the guardian

Series: Passive

Target: The guild

Description: Strengten the attack power and attack speed of the guardians but

not the defense.

Battle orders

Series: Supportive

Target: All guild members in the screan

Description: Can only be used at guild war mode and guild leaders only. When

cast, all the members in the screan will get +5 bounus in STR, INT, and DEX.

Regeneration

Series: Supportive

Target: All guild members in the screan

Description: Can only be used at guild war mode and guild leaders only. When

cast, all the members will recieve double HP recover rate to a maximum of X 3

HP recover rate

Great leadership

Series: Passive

Target: All guild members in the radius of 5 cells

Description: All the members around the leader of 5X5 recieve the effect of STR

Soul of cold

Series: Passive

Target: All guild members in the radius of 5 cells

Description: All the members around the leader of 5X5 recieve the effect of AGI

Wounds of glory

Series: Passive

Target: All guild members in the radius of 5 cells

Description: All the members around the leader of 5X5 recieve the effect of VIT

Sharp hawk eyes

Series: Passive

Target: All guild members in the radius of 5 cells

Description: All the members around the leader of 5X5 recieve the effect of DEX

Restore

Series: Supportive

Target: All guild members in the screan.

Description: This skill is use only in guild war and guild leaders only. Once

cast, all the members HP will revcover to 90%

Emergency call

Series: Supportive

Target: All guild members

Description: This skill can only be use in guild war and by guild leaders only,

once cast, all the members will appear beside you. It will summon all the

members no matter where they are.

Disable mode

------------

Do take note that some things and effects are useless in WOE as their effects

are disabled.

1: Attack power is not shown.

2: All skills are simplifed.

3: Guild logo is shown on top of the charecter.

4: Some of the skills cannot be used.

5: When charecter is dead, he will be teleported to the save point.

6: Although skills have knock back effect like magnum break, it will just be a

normal attack.

7: Using of wing of fly and teleportation skills are not allowed, you are only

allowed wing of butterfly.

8: Effect of phem card is cancel. so those with casting can forget about

casting sucessful spells.

Defend strategy

---------------

The castle defense is very important, here is what you can do

1: Kill whatever champtions and casting charecter first, but I don't realy

recomand this because it is a waste of time.

2: Spawn whatever skills like firewall, stom gust, lord of vermilion, meteor

stom and heaven drive at the entrance.

3: Heal the emperium with sanctuary or gospel(gospel is comfirm usefull agasint

emperium).

4: Snipers must stand very very far away from the metee fighters and set traps

on the entrance and at the back of the metee fighters.

5: Tryu to kill whatever enermy you see along your way.

6: Place your metee fighters at the front, assasin cross and champions behind

at the emperium.

7: On your runwatch and sight at all times.

8: Always jam up the emperium room entrance with many people as possible

Each castle has a gate(entrance) and a core(mainly the castle itself) but some

don't have, but each castle defend strategy is still the same.

The guild dungens

-----------------

The members of the guild of the castle can go to the guild dungens by finding

the switch. It is somewhere around the castle, the dungen monsters are hard to

kill and have alot of HP but tons of EXP.

The castles(with defense tips)

Geffen

------

Geffen castles are the furtest castles and you can only get there by a warp.

Their maze are very easy to broken so don worry.

Geffen 12:

This castle is the same as all the other geffen castles, they all have a gate

which lead to a maze directly and after you broke through it, you will reach

the core. Simple after this just find the emperium room.

Defend tips: Put your high wizards at the entrance with a clown and gyspy as

well as scholars. Do put some metee fighters too, champions and priest are

compusary while the other stay in the emperium room. The high wizards MUST

spawn the entrance or else the enermy will get through.

Geffen 9:

This castle has many gates, hard to break through but all lead to the same

route to the core. This is also the hardest to defend so all the members are

advise to stay inside the emperium room unless you have alliance to help.

Defend tips: As mention earlier, this castle is definaly hard to defend but

stay at the emperium room at all times. Put all metee fighters and as many

people as possible. High wizards and scholars stand at the back and snipers

stand at the back for surport.

Geffen 2:

Same as other geffen castles, I don have to explan much.

Defend tips: Same as above, but this time spawn only at the entrance while the

rest at the emperium room.

Geffen 7:

The maze is also very easy to broke through, once you reach the core, just find

the emperium room.

Defend tips: To defend this castle is very very easy, just spawn the gate and

some at the entrance, I don have to explan much ether right?

Geffen 5:

The maze is also very easy to broke through, insisdde the core has two ways to

the emperium room and ether way will lead you to there.

Defend tips:

The gate of this castle is very small, so your little spawning can mean big

spawning, same as the above, just follow the intructions above. The emperium

room has water pits for water ball.

Other tips: Other than the above defending ways, there is another way by

spawning dead brunches outside the castle. Since the field is gef_fild 13, you

can spawn monsters but I don't realy recomand you to do this as it cause unfair

to the enermies. The motive of this plan is to slow down the enermies and

wasting their time and potions(best use for geffen 9) but the spawnmer itself

will ahve to sacrifice itself so he/she is advise to wear a teleport clip or

whatever but he/she must be level 99.

Payon

-----

Payon castles all have a big gate, but the maze inside the gate is very easy to

break so this makes the defend very easy to broke. Even the emperium rooms of

the payon castles itself is a maze.

Payon 11:

Just go inside and you can broke through the maze ad reach the core easily. But

do take note that some archer guardians are standing on the floor.

Defend tips: you will need two guilds in work in order to get the best defense,

guild one will stand at the gate while guild two at the emperium room.

Payon 12:

Same thing, but don't lost your way inside the core as it has steps to confuse

you.

Defend tips: Since the gate is quite small and the whole castle itself is a

maze, just put a little bit of spawn at the gate and some at the emperium room

or you can follow the instructions above. One guild should be able to do it.

Payon 2:

Same as above, the maze is just a push over, just don lost yourself in the core

thats all.

Defend tips: to defend it is just a push over, just follow the instructions

above but you will need two guilds in order to do it.

Payon 6:

The gate is like a big door, it is realy realy hard to get pass the defenders

if it is heavily defended. But the core itself is quite easy to break through.

Defend tips: You may need more than two guilds in order to do it, the gate

itself is too big and a total amount of 2 guilds are used on the gate. One

guild is also needed for the emperium room.

Payon 5:

It is almost the same as the other castles eccept payon 6, I myself have walk

through this castle once so I cannot realy remember the maze inside but the

gate itself is just nice and enough for one guild to defend while the others in

the emperium room.

Defend tips: As mention above, this castle is quite easy to defend but two

guilds is needed.

Other tips: This is one of the fiercest battles in WOE as payon castles is just

located beside the city itself, so many guilds will definaly attack the castles

here. You will need your alliance help in order to defend well.

Prontera

--------

The prontera castles are rumored to give good tresures, many guilds attack it

for this, but the weekness is all their gates are too big.

Prontera 11:

This castle's maze is easy to broke through but the core itself is very hard.

By appearence it has many warp portals but sill it is very easy to broke

through.

Defend tips: The gate is very big and it is very hard to defend, a total of 3

guilds will be needed to defend it. two guilds at the gate and one inside the

emperium room. The two guilds at the gate is enough to stop enermies from

coming in so those in the emperium room can rest unless you see those cloakers.

Prontera 1:

This is almost same as other prontera castles, the maze is also quite easy to

broke through but do take note that the core inside is also a maze.

Defend tips: Almost same as the other castles, just jam and spawn whatever you

can. Follow the instructions above.

Prontera center:

This castle is located at the center of the prontera castles. The gate is also

very big, same as the other castles, the core itself is also a maze.

Defend tips: Same as the other prontera castles, but the gate may be very big

so I will suggest put two and half guilds to defend while the rest in the

emperium room.

Prontera 7:

The gate is very small and is also a maze. The core itself is also a maze so

this makes the whole castle a complete maze. Still for emperium breakers, if

you can go pass the defend just reach for the emperium room I believe the maze

is very easy to break.

Defend tips: Since the gate is very small, one and half guilds is enough, your

alliance and some of your guild memebers should be enough for the gate while

the rest in the emperium room.

Prontera 5:

Same as prontera 7, their structure is almost the same outside and the gate

also, so just focus on the core's maze.

Defend tips: Same as prontera 5, just spwan with one and half guilds at the

gate and the rest in the emperium room.

Aldebaran

---------

Aldebaran castle's gates are too big that it looks like it has no core, as a

matter of fact, the whole castle itself is the core. The castles also have the

hardest maze to break compair to the prontera castles as it has too many warp

potrals here and there to confuse emperium breakers.

Aldebaran 11:

Completely very hard to break even the maze itself, I only walk in this castle

once when I try to break it, I was killed by the defenders, so the best way is

to walk in this castle befeore the WOE starts to memerise the emperium room. If

not you will have a hard time finding it. Do take note of the floor structure.

Defend tips: If I am right, the emperium room has water for water ball so

scholars can save some deluge skill. Those in the emperium room can spread out

around the room. High wizards try to stand at a part with water. Do remember to

spawn area spells too. As for the entrance of the castle, just put whatever you

can, so two guilds in total you will need for the defend of this castle.

Aldebaran 7:

The gate may be jamed with alot of defenders, it is also hard to break the

maze, so same as above, figure out the maze before WOE starts.

Defend tips: Since the gate itself is the castle and it has steps to the second

floor, snipers can stand at the second floor where the archer guardians are

standing and shoot the enermies. Jam the metee fighters at the gate to block

the entrace and it should be enough to block everything unless a gang bang*

happen. So for the best defense, two guilds are needed. The emperium room

should have water for water ball skill.

*Gang bang: A gang bang happens when the enermy guild rush in together as a

team and it may be able to break the defense at the gate even the strongest

defense.

Aldebaran 6:

Just beside aldebaran 7, The gate is far too big, so emperium breakers have the

chance to broke through the maze very quicky but the best way is the memerize

the while maze before WOE starts.

Defend tips: The best is to use three guilds together, one at the emperium room

while two jam up the gate to prevent any gang bang or anything to slip pass.

Snipers can stand with the archer gurdians at the second floor. The emperium

room structure is also very small so try to put high wizards at water sports if

there are any and metee fighters at the entrance of the room.

Aldebaran 5:

I think this castle is also very hard to break as it has many warp potrals,

same as above memerize before breaking. If i am right, the emperium also have

warp potrals.

Defend tips: The gate itself is not too big but still you must jam up the

entrance with one guild and one in the emperium room so two guilds is needed.

The emperium also has water for water ball.

Aldebaran 1:

It is the same as any aldebaran castles, just follow the instructions above.

Defend tips: almost the same, two guilds are needed, emperium room should have

water pits for water ball while jaming up the entrance.

The Advance class in work

=========================

The update of the advance reborn class has make WOE a more fun event to play

especialy the champions, they can cast asura strike with just a few skills.

Stalkers also can strip enermy's equipment with one skill. Here is the list of

the advance class and what they should do.

------------

Lord knights

------------

Amount needed: More than 10, max 20.

Types: Spear lancer(any amount), AGI two hand(1 is enough), Dual(1 is enough),

VIT tankers(5-8), Bersek emperium breakers(1-5), AGI ctrical(1 is enough)

Postion standing: At the front of the gate if you are defending at the gate and

at the entrance of the emperium if you are defending at the room. AGI types

stand beside the emperium, tankers can stand at the front. The emperium

breakers can solo castles but when defending, you have to on your bersek while

standing beside the emperium.

--------

Paladins

--------

Amount needed: Max amount 15 is enough.

Types: Devotion(amount is needed when slotting your members into party, make

sure each party has at least one devotion paladin), Sheld(5-8), Tankers(5-8),

AGI spear(1, also can break emperium)

Position standing: The devotion paladins must stand together with their party

members at all times and on your sacrifice skill when enermy gets closer. Sheld

types and tankers can stand at the front with the metee fighters. AGI spear

types beside the emperium, you can go and break castles if you want but be very

careful. Those who have gospel can on gospel near the emperium or with your

party members, do not spawn gospel anywhere.

Note:

Gospel: On gospel when you are striped or when you are near your party, for

those AGI paladins who have gospel, spawn it whenever the emperium is heavily

attacked.

Snipers

-------

Amount needed: Max amount 10

Types: Any types, just not more than 10.

Postion standing: At the back of the metee fighters at the emperium room, whole

defending at the gate, also stand at the back. Remember to spawn traps too, and

on your detect whenever you see assasin cross hiding.

Note:

Traps: Set traps at the back of the metee fighters incase any tankers or

emperium breakers escape. Spawn alot of ankle snares follow by any traps you

want, it is comfirmed that the traps do work.

Clowns/Gyspys

-------------

Extra note: when you need them, always keep a pair and always slot them into

party.

Amount needed: Any amount as long as they are in a pair.

Types: Any types as long as they are in a pair.

Postion standing: Those with poem stand with the high wizards, those with

arrows stand with the snipers, those with apple stand near the emperium while

those with arrow vulcans with the snipers.

Note:

Apple of idun: Use this skill when the emperium is under attack to heal the

emperium together with sanctuary and gospel.

Loki's well: Use this combo skill only when there are enermies.

Scream and froze joker: Use this skills when there are enermies, you may even

stun your own guild mates but at low chance.

------------

High wizards

------------

Amount needed: Not more than 10 as lonf as they can cast different area spells.

Types: Any types as long as have area spells(not more than 10)

Postion standing: Some at water pits if the castle has water pits at the

emperium room. Those with no water pits can stand at anywhere as long as you

can spawn spells at the entrance. Always on sight at all times, those with

safty wall can cast around your party members and yourself.

Note:

Spawning of spells: Don't care whatever stom gust, meteor stom, lord of

vermilion or heaven drive, just spawn whatever you got. Heaven drive may be

small but it can also be deadly. All four area spells muct combine so that the

enermies will recieve different element status.

Scholars

--------

Amount needed: Not more than 5

Types: Element type with no deluge and land protect(1), Element type with

duluge and land protect(as many as you want), Battle types(1 or optional),

other types(any amount)

Postion standing: Near the high wizards or beside your party, spawn deluge

whenever you can so that water can be used. Those with heaven drives must also

help to spawn with the wizards, tunder stoms can also be used. Spawn land

protect whenever there are enermy high wizards. In your sight at all times. Use

froze driver, fire wall and spiderweb when danger rise.

Note:

Froze driver: You ae the only one who can use froze driver as the high wizards

are busy with their spawing jobs, use this skill whenever there are enermies

who escape from the defense of the metee fighters.

Fire wall: A total of three fire walls can be cast, so just spawn it at the

entrance or at the gate when there is no enermy or there is enermy, block them

from coming in.

Spiderweb: Spawn this webs with the traps, it is best to trap the enermies who

escape so that the snipers can handle them.

Assasin cross

-------------

Amount needed: Max amount 8

Types: Emperium breaker(any amount), Soul breakers(not more than 5), Others(any

amount)

Postion standing: Near the emperium, spawn venon dust around the emperium. Soul

breakers can stand at the front with the metee fighters and spawn venon dust to

posion the enermies. Emperium breakers must cloak into enermy castle to break

the emperium.

Note to emperium breakers: When you the time, it is best to go to any castle

you want to memerize the structrue and the maze in order to break the castle.

Note:

Venon dust: Spawn venon dust at the entrance or at the emperium to posion the

enermy emperium breakers.

--------

Stalkers

--------

Amount needed: Not more than 5

Types: Stripers(max amount 5), AGI dagger(1), Bow(1-2)

Postion standing: Stripers stand at the front to strip the enermies equipments

off, the bow types with the snipers and the AGI dagger at near the emperium.

Note:

Copied skills: If you have copy a stom gust or any area skill, cast it

whereever you are at the entrance.

Full strip: Use only full strip, you don't have the time for so many strips.

Sword reject: Don't use this skill, it is useless, since only for sword and

dagger types, how many class are using it. It is not worth it. Those with

sacrifice still can kill you.

Note to bow types: If you have full strip skill, use it whenever there are

escaped enermies and take off their equipments, you may have to switch weapons.

------------

High priests

------------

Amount needed: Amount is decided when you slot your members into party.

Types: Turn undead and magnus(1 as long as they have surport skills and safty

wall), VIT tankers(any amount), party surport(acording to party), Battle

types(1 or optional)

Postion standing: Always stand at the emperium or near your party members,

Those battle types can spawn magun break. Those turn undead and magnus types

must stand near the emperium to spawn safty wall. Tankers can stand infront or

near party members. On runwatch all the time.

Note to tankers: Always use a ghostring amour, use your asumption skill and AGI

up with bless, use your kyrle skill also. You can survife asura with the above

skill and equipment used.

Note:

Safty wall: Those turn undead and magnus types should have this skill, this

skil can be cast around the emperium to prevent from touching the emperium even

one single damage.

Santuary: Use this skill whenever the emperium is undead attack, leave the

emperium breakers to the champions so don't worry about the heal amount the

breaker recieve.

Warp portal: Always use warp portals to go to castles, it is the most fastest

way even when your castle is beside the city. Before the WOE starts, go to

every castle and save the warp point but you can use teleport to return to save

point

Asperio: When an emperium breaker attacks the emperium, use asperio to the

breaker so that the weapon becomes holy and he cannot hit anymore.

---------

Champions

---------

Note to champions: All champions must have the skill asura strike even for the

AGI combo monk.

Amount needed: Any amount not more than 15

Types: DEX asura(any amount the more the better), AGI combo(1), VIT tankers(1-5)

Postion standing: Near the emperium, tankers infront or near the emperium, AGI

combo monks must use the chain crush combo to lunch asura strike. Kill any

emperium breakers with asura strike and on your runwatch.

Note to AGI combo champions: Triple blows>>>quadraple blows>>>the way of

dragon>>>chain crush combo>>>asura strike. Always use the combo above to lunch

asura strike, it is the best combo skill agasint the emperium breakers.

Note to all champions: No matter you are what types, always bring alot of blue

potions or royal jellys.

------------

Mastersmiths

------------

Note to mastersmiths: All mastersmith must have the skill meltdown and

hammerfall.

Amount needed: Max amount 10, the more the better.

Types: Tankers(1-5), AGI battle(1), other types(any amount)

Postion standing: Stand at the front with the metee fighters, AGI types stand

near the emperium with your meltdown ready to melt any emperium breaker's

weapons and amour. Tankers at the front.

Note:

Melting of equipments: You must always use this skill, some enermies may be

wearing ghostring card amour or golden bug sheld, sometimes orc lord amour or

maya sheld.

Repair weapons: Help your members to repair the broken weapons whenever you can.

Hammerfall: Spawn hammerfalls whenever there are enermies.

Biochemists

-----------

Note to biochemists: You must have the skill demonstration, and other potion

skills. Potion pitcher are excluded, most important is the full chemical

protection.

Amount needed: AGI battle(1), VIT tankers(max amount 5), others(any amount),

potion makers(Optional you will need it if the biochemist in your guild needs

the potions)

Potion standing: At the front with the metee fighters same for the tankers, AGI

types near the emperium while spawning potion skill like demonstration and acid

terror. Summon a few floras and marine sphere too, it helps alot.

Note:

Demonstration: This skill breaks the enermy's equipment by chance, this is a

add on skill to the mastersmith's meltdown. Spawn as many as you can at the

entrance.

------------

Supernovices

------------

Note: Never invite any supernovice unless your guild is very strong.

Amount needed: Optional

Types: Casting type(1), AGI type(1)

Postion standing: casting types may join the wizards while the AGI types may

stand near the emperium.

Note: Those who have fire wall may spawn them, those who have surport skills

may use them.

The guild leader section

Important: This section is for the guild leaders only, those who are not guild

leaders can don't need to read this. The infomanation below is given by my

guild leader.

Using of guild leader skills

----------------------------

Skills like the Soul of cold or Wounds of glory can cast anytime you want. But

do take note that once cast, you cannot use any guild skills for 5 minutes.

Using of emergency call:

This is a very important skill, it summons all your members no matter where

they are, use this skill only when the emperium is under attack. Once the

emperium is under attack by one emperium breaker, use this right away, you

cannot waste anytime or chances.

Positon of standing for guild leaders: It is best for the leader to stand at

the emperium, so that when the breakers are here, you can cast emergency call

easy. Do not let them disturb or hit you or the casting will be break.

The guild NPC

-------------

this part can be found in guide books, you can refer to them as well, I will

write it here for reffence.

1: Moniter the condition of guild base

This optional lets th guild leader to moniter the condition of the guild castle.

2: Investment of guild base buiness development

This option lets you invest in the buiness so that it will produce rare

tresures in the tresure room. If the buiness develop level is low, you will

only get normal item or empty tresure boxes.

3: Investment in guild castle defense

This option lets you make the guild more tough and stronger, I cannot comfirm

this is true but it is very important too.

4: Establish/repair of guardians

Hire guardians through this option, always hire all of them, if a guardian is

dead, you can repair it.

5: Recruit and dismiss of kapra

You can hire your kapra through this option, since you have to resupply your

items, you will need a kapra for easy use. You can dismiss them through this

option also.

6: Move to guild secret warehouse

This option lets you move to the tresure boxes, once all the boxxes are opened,

you have to wait for a long time before the boxes will appear.

Note: the higher the buiness development, the more rare tresure you will get.

Abandon castle:

This option lets you abandom the castle, be very wise when doing this, if you

cannot defend the castle anymore, you will use this. After that the castle will

be a heaven of monsters and MVPs and you have to attack again and the guild who

break the emperium first will be the master of the castle.

Note:

Using of the abandon castle option: When you want to get rid of many enermies,

this is the only option, once you use this all the people in the castle will be

transfer out. So use this only when the time is needed or you cannot defend

anymore.

The alliance function

---------------------

When a guild leader right click on the other guild's leader or member, there is

a option to make an aliance with the guild.

What is alliance?: Alliance is to make friends, the more friends the better.

You can have a total amount of 3 aliance, you cannot attack their castle or

members or each other in WOE. If your alliance's guild is very strong, you earn

it so make sure you make alliance with a strong guild.

Imaginary alliance: What is this? Well, when your alliance list is full and you

want to make another alliance, you can contact the guild leader by talking to

him. Once the leader accepts, the alliance is made. The two guilds must not

enter each other castles and attack each other castles but you can sent some of

your members to help them just don't hit them by mistake.

The investment

Since investment for the castles need alot of RO zeny, it is best for every

member to share money to invest in it.

What a guild leader should do

-----------------------------

All guild leader must know what to do at all times, here is the list you must

do in order to be a good leader.

1: Share your rare tresures with your members

Borrow them the rare tresures and everyone mush have the chance. If you have

ten helm of sun god, you can give them to your members.

2: Respect everyone

This is very important, some leaders look down on weaker class like the spear

paladins and two handed knights. Remember, everyone is usefull in WOE, they

each have their jobs to do so respect everyone is the first step to become a

good leader. Accept anyone who wants to join your guild.

3: Sent a spy outside your castle

Sent a spy outside your castle to check welther there are any enermies. If

there realy are, then the spy must report to you how many enermies are there so

that you can give the comand to the defenders at the gate to prepair.

PS: This goes to the guild leader who is defending at the gate.

4: Give your comands in capital letters

Some members don't know each other names, always talk in capital letters.

5: Always attack castles in a group

Gather all your members together and gang bang the enermy's castle defense.

6: Sending of emperium breakers:

If the situation in your castle has stabled, you can sent some emperium

breakers to break other castles if you want. Do this only when the castle is

stable.

7: Be happy

The most important thing in WOE is to have fun, do not treat it like a real war

when even you meet outside you fight. It is just a game.

Who wants to play cards? Here is the selection of cards you can use for WOE.

Weapon

------

Doppleganger: For AGI charecters who wants to have speed to kill enermies.

Skel worker: For killing enermies, it gives bounus damage to people since they

are medium size.

Hydra: The main card for fighting agasint people, gives addtional damage when

use agasint people.

Mummy: For those high flee rate jobs.

Phreeoni: For those high flee rate jobs, can replace mummy card.

Status cards

Below are the usefull status cards you can use.

Magnolia: Give curses to enermies.

Metaller: Gives slient to prevent enermies from using skill.

Marina: Freeze the enermies, good agasint enermies who are using golden bug

cards.

Amour

-----

Here is the list of cards you can use for WOE in your amour

Ghostring: For high VIt tankers like paladins and lord knights and high priests.

Marc: Use this card to prevent stom gust from freezing you, also good agasint

froze driver.

Orc lord card: For AGI charecters who want to kill enermies more easy by

reflecting the damage recieved.

Angeling: Decrease the element damage recieve from the area spells but not good

to use, this is just to save some potions.

Pupa: For more HP uses

Head

----

Here is the list of cards you can use for your headgear.

Deviruchi: For those AGI charecters who are afraid of losing any flee rate.

Marduk: For high wizards who are afraid of slient status.

Orc hero: For those who want to avoid the hammerfalls and bashs

Mistress: For those scholars and high priest who wants to use skills like safty

wall, warp or land protect.

Pharaoh: For those who wants to spawn alot of skills.

Robe

Raydric: For the deduction of the neutral element means that the damage done to

you will be decrease.

Frlldora: For those breaksers like the bersek lord knight and spear paladins

but this is optional since you can only use level 1 cloaking.

Sheld

Thara frog: The most basic card, you will need this if you are using a sheld.

Horn: Good agasint sniper's arrow attacks.

Golden bug: For those tankers who wants to save some pots for more damage. All

the area spells are useless to you now.

Maya: For those who wants to survife magic spells and reflecting damage back to

them, too bad the damage you done to enermies is only 1

Matyr: For more HP uses.

Verit: For more SP uses.

Moonlight flower: For fast walking speed, this is best for escaping from

enermies who are chasing you.

Marine sphere: For battle high priests only

Spore: For more VIT and HP

Mantis: For more STR uses

Smokie: For hiding purpose but still it is useless as the high wizards and high

priest will sight and runwatch

Orisis: When you are dead and you are teleport back to the city, you can save

the heal and potions you waste.

Zerom: For more DEX uses.

Kurle: For more AGI purpose.

Horong: For those who wants to solo and sight the hidden enrmies.
